ASIA PACIFIC FRANCHISE DIRECTORY

This inaugural, first-ever Asia Pacific Franchise Directory‘s  objective is to share as much information as possible with the  worldwide  franchise fraternity  and the public at large concerning the vast business opportunities available  in the Asia Pacific region. It will also , as it grows in the coming years, provide a consolidated platform for the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation's (APFC) association-members and the possibly even the franchisors from other parts of the world to target specifically at franchisees they wish to recruit as business partners/franchisees in this bustling region.  

Distribution:  No less than 9000 copies of the Asia Pacific Franchise Directory will be distributed at franchise and related business events held in countries throughout the Asia Pacific region. Some of the major shows where the Asia Pacific Franchise Directory will be distributed are : Taiwan, Japan*, Korea*, Dubai*, USA*, Europe*, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand*, Malaysia, Singapore, India, UK*, Vietnam, etc.  As this Directory will be published once-in-four-years, it will make it rounds around the world so as to give franchisors maximum mileage and corporate exposure.

Other than advertisements by reputable franchisers from the region, well-known lawyers in the USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Philippines, Australia and India will be writing about  franchise-related legal matters...Established consultants’ articles would also add more value to this publication.

Needless to say, listings of franchise companies member (voting members) in the various franchise associations in Asia will be included so that readers can make full use of this powerful research tool.

The inaugural Asia Pacific Franchise Directory was mooted during the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC) meeting held in Auckland, New Zealand in June 2005. As endorsement, it has 18 congratulations letters from the Presidents/Chairpersons of 16 national franchise associations from the Asia Pacific region, 1 from APFC and 1 from the European Franchise Federation (EFF). As far as international franchisors are concerned, more than 60 franchisors from all over Asia and the USA have confirmed their advertisements.

In addition, famous lawyers from 13 countries, and well regarded consultants from around the world have also contributed articles concerning franchising.
